We picked up victories in both the Main Slate and the All Day Slate, and honestly, that’s the kind of bounce-back day you want after a few frustrating slates. Nothing flashy. Just clean process, strong pitching, and smarter roster construction.
Luis Castillo was the engine yesterday. He dropped 27 FanDuel points in both lineups, and at his salary he was easily one of the best values on the board. When your pitcher gives you high floor and savings, everything else gets easier.
I also made a noticeable shift in approach yesterday. Instead of forcing stacks, I leaned more into strong individual bats and cleaner one-off plays. That flexibility mattered. Sometimes everyone wants to jam the same stacks, and that’s where sharp single-player value can separate you.
Now, not everything was perfect. I fired a tournament lineup that got nuked by a bad San Diego Padres stack. It happens. That’s GPP life. We move on.
The important part is the core process worked, both cash lineups got home, and the adjustments paid off. We’ll try to keep that momentum rolling today.
