Growing one lesson at a time.

Some of my favorite memories growing up were walking through my grandma's backyard while she showed me everything she was growing. She'd pull a leaf off a plant and tell me to smell it. Sometimes she'd have me taste it. I've always loved the idea of gardening, but I never really took the time to learn it myself. Now I'm figuring it out one plant at a time while trying to grow things in the middle of the El Paso desert, where weeks of 100-degree temperatures are just part of life. As you'll quickly discover around here, success and failure tend to go hand in hand.
