The World Cup Is Over. Here’s Where to Watch the USMNT Stars Now

Now it’s time for the true test of soccer (football) here in the United States. The World Cup just a couple months ago was amazing. We fell in love with the beautiful game, as well as so many countries and their people. Now we really put that love to the test.

If you want to continue watching the USMNT players you fell in love with during the World Cup, here’s a guide to the guys playing overseas. I’ll do another article covering the MLS players when their regular season starts to wrap up.

For now, here’s a breakdown of some of the top USMNT players playing in Europe, where they’re playing, how things are looking for them heading into the new season and, most importantly, how you can watch them here in the United States.

Premier League | England

2026-27 Season: August 21/22, 2026 -> May 30, 2027

Usually Plays: Mostly Saturday and Sunday mornings and early afternoons in the U.S., with some Friday and Monday games.

Watch in the U.S.: NBC, USA Network and Peacock.

The Premier League is England’s top division and probably the easiest European league for American fans to follow. Most games fall on Saturday and Sunday mornings here in the States, making it a pretty easy league to throw on with your morning MUD/WTR.

Tyler Adams with the USMNT during the 2026 World Cup

Tyler Adams

Age: 27

Born: Wappingers Falls, New York

Position: Midfielder

Club: AFC Bournemouth

With Club Since: 2023

Bournemouth isn’t some team simply trying to survive in the Premier League anymore. They spent much of last season fighting around the European places, and Adams remains an important part of a midfield that has helped turn the club into a legitimate upper-half Premier League team.

His biggest issue has been staying healthy. Injuries limited his playing time again last season, so that’s probably the biggest thing to watch as the new campaign begins.

Chris Richards with the USMNT during the 2026 World Cup

Chris Richards

Age: 26

Born: Birmingham, Alabama

Position: Defender

Club: Crystal Palace

With Club Since: 2022

Richards has quietly become one of the most established American players in the Premier League. He’s been with Crystal Palace since 2022 and has developed into a regular part of their defense while the club has enjoyed one of the most successful stretches in its history.

Palace isn’t expected to challenge for the Premier League title, but this is a good club playing against elite competition every week. If you liked Richards during the World Cup, you’ll get plenty of opportunities to see him tested against some of the best attacking players in the world.

Brenden Aaronson with the USMNT during the 2026 World Cup

Brenden Aaronson

Age: 25

Born: Medford, New Jersey

Position: Midfielder / Forward

Club: Leeds United

With Club Since: 2022

Aaronson has been with Leeds since 2022, although he spent the 2023-24 season on loan in Germany. Leeds returned to the Premier League for the 2025-26 season, and Aaronson showed that he belongs at this level. He improved his attacking production while continuing to bring the relentless pressing and energy that have always been a big part of his game.

Leeds clearly sees him as part of its future. Aaronson signed a new three-year contract in August that keeps him with the club through 2029. This isn’t a newly promoted Leeds team anymore. The goal now is to build on last season and become an established Premier League club.

Serie A | Italy

2026-27 Season: August 22/23, 2026 -> May 29/30, 2027

Usually Plays: Mostly Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons in the U.S., with occasional Friday and Monday games.

Watch in the U.S.: Paramount+. Select matches also appear across CBS Sports, including CBS, CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo Network.

Serie A is Italy’s top division and gives American fans two very recognizable USMNT players at two of the most famous clubs in European soccer.

Christian Pulisic with the USMNT during the 2026 World Cup

Christian Pulisic

Age: 27

Born: Hershey, Pennsylvania

Position: Winger / Attacking Midfielder

Club: AC Milan

With Club Since: 2023

Pulisic joined AC Milan in 2023 and has become one of the club’s most important attacking players. Milan is one of the biggest names in world soccer, so expectations are always high. They’re expected to compete near the top of Serie A and for a place in the Champions League.

There is one thing to watch right away. Pulisic suffered an ankle injury during the United States’ World Cup loss to Belgium and only recently returned to full training with Milan. Assuming he’s healthy, he remains one of the easiest USMNT players to follow if you want to keep watching the team’s biggest star.

Weston McKennie with the USMNT before a March 2026 match against Belgium

Weston McKennie

Age: 27

Born: Fort Lewis, Washington

Position: Midfielder

Club: Juventus

With Club Since: 2020

McKennie has been at Juventus since 2020, making him one of the longest-tenured Americans at a major European club. Last season was arguably the best club season of his career. He set career highs in starts and reached double digits in combined goals and assists while continuing to show why manager after manager finds a place for him.

Juventus expects to be competing near the top of Serie A, not hanging around the middle of the table. McKennie has survived years of transfer rumors and managerial changes in Turin, and he enters another season as an important and incredibly versatile piece of the team.

Ligue 1 | France

2026-27 Season: August 21, 2026 -> May 29, 2027

Usually Plays: Mostly Friday through Sunday, generally mornings and afternoons in the U.S.

Watch in the U.S.: beIN Sports and beIN Sports Connect. Fubo also carries beIN Sports on eligible plans.

France might be the most interesting league for USMNT fans this season because several familiar names are playing there, including one whose World Cup performance has suddenly attracted a lot of attention around Europe.

Folarin Balogun with the USMNT during the 2026 World Cup

Folarin Balogun

Age: 25

Born: Brooklyn, New York

Position: Striker

Club: AS Monaco

With Club Since: 2023

Balogun was born in Brooklyn and raised in England. Born in the U.S. to Nigerian parents, he was eligible for all three national teams and represented England at the youth level before choosing the USMNT in 2023.

He’s been with Monaco since that same year and enters the season as one of the most interesting USMNT players to follow after his World Cup performance put him in front of a much larger audience. Monaco is regularly in the mix for European qualification in France, and Balogun is one of the club’s primary attacking threats.

Worth Watching: Balogun’s World Cup performance has attracted attention from bigger clubs around Europe. Tottenham has been among the clubs credibly linked with him, and additional interest could make his situation one of the USMNT’s biggest transfer stories before the window closes. For now, he remains a Monaco player.

Tim Weah with the USMNT during the 2026 World Cup

Tim Weah

Age: 26

Born: Brooklyn, New York

Position: Winger / Wingback

Club: Marseille

With Club Since: 2025

Weah joined Marseille in 2025 after playing in Italy with Juventus. He’s now entering his second season with one of the biggest and most passionately supported clubs in France.

Marseille is one of the teams trying to make life difficult for Paris Saint-Germain at the top of Ligue 1. Weah’s ability to play multiple positions gives him several ways onto the field, so USMNT fans should have plenty of chances to see him this season.

Gio Reyna with the USMNT during the 2026 World Cup

Gio Reyna

Age: 23

Born: Sunderland, England

Position: Attacking Midfielder

Club: Strasbourg

With Club Since: 2026

Reyna was born in England while his father, former USMNT captain Claudio Reyna, was playing there professionally. Both of his parents are American, so Gio was eligible to represent the United States.

After spending most of his European career in Germany, Reyna moved to Strasbourg this summer. That’s what makes him particularly interesting this season. Talent has never really been the question with Reyna. Staying healthy and finding consistent playing time have been the problems. Strasbourg gives him a fresh start and an opportunity to finally establish himself as a regular club player.

Bundesliga | Germany

2026-27 Season: August 28, 2026 -> May 22, 2027

Usually Plays: Primarily Saturday and Sunday mornings in the U.S., with a Friday afternoon game most weeks.

Watch in the U.S.: Fandango, USA Network, Peacock and Telemundo.

Germany’s Bundesliga is known for huge crowds, attacking soccer and Bayern Munich spending an awful lot of time near the top of the table. This season, one of the USMNT’s World Cup standouts will be trying to help another German heavyweight keep pace.

Malik Tillman with the USMNT during the 2026 World Cup

Malik Tillman

Age: 24

Born: Nuremberg, Germany

Position: Attacking Midfielder

Club: Bayer Leverkusen

With Club Since: 2025

Tillman was born in Germany to a German mother and American father. He represented Germany at several youth levels before ultimately choosing the United States.

He joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2025 after an excellent run with PSV in the Netherlands. Leverkusen has become one of Germany’s strongest clubs in recent years, so Tillman is playing meaningful games for a team expected to compete near the top of the Bundesliga.

After his World Cup, he’ll also return to Germany with a much bigger profile among American fans than he had when last season began.

Eredivisie | Netherlands

2026-27 Season: August 7, 2026 -> May 23, 2027

Usually Plays: Mostly Saturday and Sunday mornings and early afternoons in the U.S.

Watch in the U.S.: ESPN platforms, with most U.S. coverage through ESPN+ / ESPN streaming and select matches on ESPN channels.

The Eredivisie doesn’t get the attention in the United States that the Premier League or Serie A does, but PSV Eindhoven gives USMNT fans a pretty good reason to care. Two recognizable Americans share the same locker room for one of the biggest clubs in the Netherlands.

Sergino Dest with the USMNT during the 2026 World Cup

Sergiño Dest

Age: 25

Born: Almere, Netherlands

Position: Right Back / Wingback

Club: PSV Eindhoven

With Club Since: 2023

Dest was born and raised in the Netherlands to a Dutch mother and American father. He represented the United States at the youth level and eventually chose the USMNT over the Netherlands for his senior international career.

He’s been with PSV since 2023, initially on loan before making the move permanent. PSV expects to compete for the Eredivisie title every year, so Dest is playing for a club where winning the league is a realistic goal rather than a dream.

Ricardo Pepi with the USMNT during the 2026 World Cup

Ricardo Pepi

Age: 23

Born: El Paso, Texas

Position: Striker

Club: PSV Eindhoven

With Club Since: 2023

Pepi has also been with PSV since 2023. The El Paso native has developed into a dangerous scoring option for a club that regularly dominates Dutch soccer and competes in Europe.

That makes PSV an especially easy team for American fans to adopt. You get Dest and Pepi on the same club, they’re expected to win a lot of games, and both are still young enough that their careers could eventually take them elsewhere in Europe.

What About the USMNT Players in MLS?

Not everybody you watched during the World Cup went back across the Atlantic. Several recognizable USMNT players are playing right here in MLS, and we’ll have a separate guide to those guys as the current MLS season gets closer to wrapping up.

There’s also a much bigger story developing with MLS itself. The league has traditionally played on a spring-to-fall calendar that is very different from most of the major European leagues. That’s about to change. MLS will play a shortened transition season from February through May 2027 before moving to a summer-to-spring calendar beginning with the 2027-28 season, bringing the league much closer to the international soccer calendar.

For now, though, if the World Cup made you want to keep watching Pulisic, Adams, Richards, Balogun and the rest of the guys playing overseas, you don’t have to wait four years to see them again.

You just might have to get used to watching soccer with your Saturday morning coffee.
