The goal is simple: build a strong, balanced lineup by starting with pitching, identifying high-upside team stacks, and then filling in hitters based on matchups and trends.
This is all driven by a system I’m actively testing and refining, with a focus on building consistent, winning lineups over time.

Back to winning ways yesterday, and more importantly, back to trusting the process. That marks 8 cashes in my first 10 contests, which is exactly the kind of consistency I’m aiming for while continuing to refine this MLB DFS model.
Yesterday’s lineup was powered by Seth Lugo on the mound and a huge contribution from the Braves trio, which helped push the lineup to 157.7 points. The top score on the slate came in at 187.3, so while there was still room to climb, clearing the cash line comfortably is always a strong result.
From a model standpoint, I’m making no changes right now. We rolled out some new additions yesterday, and the next step is patience. Too many people tweak things after every slate. I’d rather let the data breathe, collect a real sample, and evaluate what’s actually helping versus what just happened to work once.
So the plan is simple: stay disciplined, let the model run as built, and monitor results over the next several days — maybe even the next week and a half.
